I am working on completing my Dissertation at Capella. My Dissertation topic is "How do Universities Identify Students with PTSD". My PhD is in education. I'm trying to look at this subject from the educators point of view. Please let me know if I can be of service to you. To assist any of the veterans the most, please refer them to the local Veteran's Administration Office in the city where they reside. For those vets with illnesses or injuries, the counselors at the VA can get them started with claiming compensation for their ailments (mental or physical). The process has improved over the years and should not take very long to obtain results. The VA Regional Office in conjunction with the local VA Hospital can get any vet back on the right track. I am living proof. I can not begin to tell you what a godsend they were for me. I have been retired for almost ten years now and the VA has been there for me.
